The BYD Tang DM-i Champion Edition has officially been launched with a price range of 209,800-233,800 RMB. The car has been optimized and upgraded for its configuration, with added Glacier Blue paint and upgraded aluminum alloy and FSD variable damping suspension.
In terms of appearance, the BYD Tang DM-i Champion Edition is similar to the old model, maintaining the BYD Dragon Face family design language. The car features a leaping dragon waistline, suspended dragon crystal LED headlights, and has added Glacier Blue paint. In addition, the car also features a new wheel design with upgraded tire specifications from 245/45 R20 to 255/50 R20 and standard quiet tires. The Tang DM-i Champion Edition measures 4870/1950/1725 mm in length, width, and height, respectively, with a wheelbase of 2820 mm, the same as the current model.
In terms of the interior, the new car offers three color schemes, with the Luxury version equipped with Chestnut Brown interior, and the Prestige and Premium 7-seater versions featuring Golden Scale Orange interior. In addition, the Premium version offers the option of a 6-seater layout with upgraded Cosmos Gray interior. In terms of technology, the new car is equipped with DiLink 4.0 intelligent network system 5G version, HiFi-level customized Dynaudio sound system, full-scene intelligent voice, DiPilot intelligent driving assistance system, etc.
In terms of power, the new car continues to be equipped with the Shao Yun plug-in hybrid-specific turbocharged 1.5TI efficient engine and EHS electric hybrid system, with a comprehensive fuel consumption of 5.5L per hundred kilometers in electric mode, a pure electric range of 112km, and a comprehensive range of 1050km.
In terms of chassis, the new car has also been upgraded, with FSD variable damping suspension equipped on all models, and control arms, traction arms, swing arms, and steering joints made of aluminum alloy instead of iron. The FSD frequency-variable damping shock absorber can automatically adjust the damping force according to road changes, flexibly adapting to complex and diverse road conditions, and bringing a better driving experience.
