Recently, YANGWANG officially announced the body size information of the U8. The new car is the brand’s first mass-produced model, positioned as a million-level new energy hard-core off-road vehicle, adopting the YANGWANG brand’s family-style design “Space-Time Door”, and is expected to be launched for sale in August.
According to the latest official information, the YANGWANG U8 has a length/width/height of 5319/2050/1930mm respectively, with a wheelbase of 3050mm. It is positioned as a mid-to-large-sized SUV, even longer than models such as the Mercedes-Benz GLS and BMW X7, and has outstanding wheelbase performance among vehicles in the same class.
In terms of exterior design, the YANGWANG U8 has a huge grille on the front, with dot-matrix LED light sources on both sides, electrically retractable door handles, a tough-looking rear design with a spare tire mounted in the center, and “L”-shaped and dot-matrix LED light sources on the rear that are highly recognizable. The new car is equipped with a laser radar on the top.
As for the interior design, the new car adopts a brand-new design language. The large screen in the middle is embedded, and there is a large-sized screen on the passenger side. In terms of seat layout, the vehicle will adopt a 2+2+3 seven-seat layout.
As for power, the new car is equipped with the “YiSifang” power system, providing four-wheel drive with four motors. The maximum power of a single motor is 220-240kW, and the maximum torque is 320-420N·m. It has a zero-to-100km/h acceleration time of less than 3 seconds and can achieve various outstanding abilities such as turning around in place and controlling tire bursts. In addition, the vehicle is also equipped with YiSifang blade battery and non-bearing body.
