On June 13, according to the media outlet electrive, BYD is about to launch five electric vehicles in the French market. The company has currently partnered with four large dealerships to prepare for the release of these new cars.
Reports indicate that BYD will begin providing the first batch of vehicles to dealers this month and will start sales shortly thereafter. BYD hopes to open 15 to 20 stores with partners throughout France by the end of this year, with the ultimate goal of building 100 stores in France.
The report pointed out that BYD will first introduce the Atto 3, Han, and Tang models in France, all of which have been launched in other European markets. The Dolphin will be launched in July, and the Seal will be launched after the summer. Earlier reports confirmed that BYD’s new cars, the Dolphin and Seal, will be sold in the European market in April.
According to information provided by BYD, dealers will open stores in Paris, Strasbourg, Metz, Nancy, Milos, Rennes, and other cities throughout the year. BYD’s sales in Europe have previously included Norway, Sweden, Denmark, Finland, Iceland, the Netherlands, Belgium, Luxembourg, the UK, Ireland, Germany, Austria, Spain, and Portugal. BYD also confirmed that Atto 3 and Han will be launched in Italy and Hungary this year, while other European countries will launch in 2024.
