BYD has announced the launch of three new vehicle models in Uzbekistan, including the Han EV

BYD recently held a brand and product pre-sale launch event in Uzbekistan, announcing three new models, including the Han EV pure electric model, and two hybrid models, the Song PLUS DM-i and the Destroyer 05. Multiple stores will officially open starting in March, and consumers can experience BYD’s latest new energy vehicle technology and products.

Three pioneer stores located in Tashkent, the capital of Uzbekistan, will open one after another starting in March, including a BYD flagship store and technology museum, a comprehensive BYD brand experience center, and a BYD urban exhibition hall.

The BYD Han EV is priced at 613,581,000 Uzbekistani som (approximately $56,600 USD), the Song PLUS DM-i is priced at 367,732,000 Uzbekistani som (approximately $33,000 USD), and the Destroyer 05 is priced at 285,736,000 Uzbekistani som (approximately $26,500 USD).

As of March 2023, BYD’s global sales of new energy passenger vehicles have exceeded 3.7 million, covering more than 70 countries and regions and over 400 cities worldwide.

BYD has developed a long-term localization plan in Uzbekistan. In December last year, BYD and UzAuto signed a joint venture agreement to establish a joint company in Uzbekistan, dedicated to producing new energy vehicles and related components. The debut of BYD’s new energy passenger vehicles in Uzbekistan and the opening of pre-sales will promote the popularity and promotion of new energy vehicles in Uzbekistan and Central Asia.
