On April 9th, after the release of exterior design drawings and official images, BYD recently released more official images of its small electric vehicle, the Seagull, along with a promotional video showcasing 4 different exterior color schemes.
There are four creative colors for the Seagull, named “Sprout Green”, “Polar Night Black”, “Peach Pink”, and “Warm Sun White”, each with its own unique style.
BYD Seagull’s overall style leans towards sporty, incorporating cyberpunk elements into its design with simple lines that showcase a trendy and cool personality. According to the application information, BYD Seagull’s length, width, and height are 3780/1715/1540 millimeters, with a wheelbase of 2500 millimeters.
BYD Seagull is built on the e-platform 3.0. According to previous application information, the car is equipped with a maximum power of 55 kilowatts electric motor, and the estimated maximum range is around 400 kilometers (248 miles). According to previous reports, BYD Seagull is expected to debut at the Shanghai Auto Show opening on April 18th, and the car is expected to be priced at 80,000 to 100,000 yuan ($1,230-$1,540 USD).
