According to the official news of BYD Auto, BYD and its distributor Mobility Solutions Auto Trade Company recently held a BYD brand and new car launch event in Amman, Jordan.

At the launch, BYD brought four models:
- BYD Dolphin: small car, the first model based on BYD e Platform 3.0
- BYD Tang EV: luxury mid-size SUV with 520 horsepower and a new electric 4WD system
- BYD Yuan Plus: Compact SUV
- BYD Han EV: mid-size sedan, flagship model
This launch is not only our first stop in the Middle East market this year, but also a milestone in our deep expansion into the Middle East market,” said Peng Lei, Regional Sales Director of BYD Auto Middle East, at the launch event. BYD and Mobility Solutions Auto Trade Company jointly presented the most advanced new energy vehicle products and services, demonstrating our technical strength and professional capabilities. The success of this launch brings new development opportunities for the Jordanian automotive market, and we believe that with the joint efforts of BYD and Mobility Solutions Auto Trade Company, we will inject more new momentum and vitality into the Jordanian automotive market.”
In addition to the product highlights, the conference also announced a strategic cooperation plan between BYD and Jordanian dealer Mobility Solutions Auto Trade Company. The two sides will carry out in-depth cooperation in sales, after-sales and maintenance.
BYD Auto sold 193,655 units in February, up 112.6% year-over-year; passenger car sales were 191,664 units (including 15,002 units exported), up 112.3% year-over-year. Overseas sales of EV passenger cars totaled 15,002 units.
