On May 5th, BYD Auto announced on their official social media that they have reached a strategic cooperation agreement with Andor, an Ecuadorian automotive dealer group, to jointly promote the development of the passenger car market in Ecuador.
In addition, BYD also held a brand launch and new car launch conference in Quito, the capital of Ecuador, and launched three models, the Han EV, Yuan PLUS EV, and Dolphin, for the Ecuadorian market.
BYD stated that they will work with local dealers in Ecuador to create a localized sales and service system, provide better consumer experiences for local users, further promote Ecuador’s green future, and achieve sustainable development.
According to previous reports, BYD has already cooperated with dealers in Jordan, Malaysia’s Senna Automotive, and Morocco, and will launch BYD’s models locally. As of now, BYD’s global cumulative sales of new energy vehicles have exceeded 4.1 million units.
