On June 10th, according to a post by user Icy_Nectarine_6311 on the Reddit community, spy photos of the “Project Highland” Model 3 road test vehicle were shared. The photos show the first discovery of a blue-colored vehicle, with white and black models previously spotted.
Previously it was discovered that the white and black versions have different standard wheel hubs. The blue Model 3 Highland edition uses similar wheel hubs to the 19-inch sport wheel hubs and winter tire kit, but without the black wheel hub covers with the Tesla logo.
The front headlights of the new Model 3 are consistent with the previously exposed photos, adopting a more fashionable and dynamic design that is distinct from the existing Model 3. The rear taillights have also changed, with the turn signal changing from horizontal to vertical.
The rear bumper has also added a diffuser similar to the Model S, X, and Y, which accelerates the low-pressure air under the car and guides it to the rear of the car, thereby increasing downforce at high speeds and improving handling. Therefore, it is possible that the new Model 3 will introduce a more performance-oriented model.
Through researching related information, it was also found that some netizens shared photos of a red version of the updated Model 3.
