Tesla officially announced the prices of the brand new Model S and Model X in the Chinese market in January this year. Today, Tesla announced through their official Weibo account that the first Tesla entered China in 2014. Nine years later, the faster, stronger, and smarter brand new Model S & Model X are starting to be delivered in Mainland China.

According to Tesla’s official website, the Model S Dual Motor All-Wheel Drive version starts at CNY 789,900, equivalent to approximately USD 12.25 million, while the Model S Plaid Three Motor All-Wheel Drive version starts at CNY 1,009,900, equivalent to approximately USD 15.68 million. The Model X Dual Motor All-Wheel Drive version starts at CNY 879,900, equivalent to approximately USD 13.63 million, while the Model X Plaid Three Motor All-Wheel Drive version starts at CNY 1,039,900, equivalent to approximately USD 16.1 million.
Specifically, the Model S has a CLTC range of 715 kilometers, a top speed of 250 km/h, and can accelerate from 0 to 100 km/h in 3.2 seconds.
- The Dual Motor All-Wheel Drive Model S is priced at CNY 789,900, equivalent to approximately USD 121,963.
- The Three Motor All-Wheel Drive Model S Plaid version is priced at CNY 1,009,900, equivalent to approximately USD 156,800.
Model X has a 700 km CLTC range, a top speed of 250 km/h, and can accelerate from 0 to 100 km/h in 3.9 seconds.
- The dual-motor all-wheel-drive Model X is priced at ¥879,900, which is approximately $136,365 USD.
- The tri-motor all-wheel-drive Model X Plaid is priced at ¥1,039,900, which is approximately $160,893 USD.
