Recently, Tesla has provided a new car paint option, Ultra Red, for the Model S and Model X models in global markets. Compared to Red Multi-Coat, the red color of this car paint is deeper and has a better texture. The optional price for this car paint in China is 25,000 yuan, and in the United States, it is 3,000 dollars.
Model S and Model X with ultra red car paint have arrived at some delivery centers and showrooms in the United States, indicating that large-scale deliveries are about to begin.
For users who have already ordered Red Multi-Coat car paint, Tesla also offers a free service to replace it with ultra red car paint.
Aside from Ultra Red, Tesla also offers two other red car paint options. The Model 3 comes in Red Multi-Coat globally, while the Model Y in the European market has Dark Cherry Red, which uses Tesla’s latest paint technology with 13 layers of paint and changes appearance based on viewing angle and lighting conditions. In other markets, the Model Y comes in Red Multi-Coat. The Model S and Model X come in Ultra Red globally.
