- The price of Model X has been raised from $94,990 to $97,490
- The price of Model X Plaid version has been raised from $104,990 to $107,490
- The price of Model S has been raised from $84,990 to $87,490
- The price of Model S Plaid version has been raised from $104,990 to $107,490
According to previous reports, Tesla’s Model S and Model X cars in the United States have experienced three price cuts since 2023. Tesla CEO Elon Musk said Tesla can sacrifice its industry-leading profit margins to achieve growth during a recession and stay in sync with Chinese competitors. He said, “It’s better to sell more cars at lower profit margins before we perfect autonomous driving technology and reap profits later.”
