On August 16th, Tesla China announced on its official Weibo account that the Model S/X vehicles are now available at a further discount. The price of all available vehicles has been reduced by between ¥54,000 and ¥70,000. The Model S now starts at ¥754,900, down from the original price of ¥808,900, while the Model X starts at ¥836,900, down from the original price of ¥898,900. In addition, customers can enjoy benefits such as three to six years of free supercharging, referral rewards, and a limited-time transfer of the Full Self-Driving (FSD) feature.
Customers who purchase the Model S/X through a referral from a friend can receive a referral reward of ¥7,000 (which can be used to offset the final payment of the vehicle) and a 90-day free trial of the Enhanced Autopilot (EAP) feature. Referrers can receive 48,000 referral points which can be redeemed for supercharging miles, a TeslaMic wireless microphone, and other rewards.
Earlier reports stated that two days ago, Tesla China just announced that the Tesla Model 3 now has an 8000 yuan limited-time insurance subsidy. Starting from August 14, 2023, the starting price of the Model Y Long Range version will be adjusted from 313,900 yuan to 299,900 yuan, and the Model Y Performance version will be adjusted from 363,900 yuan to 349,900 yuan.
