Recently, Tesla officially launched two car decals, which are suitable for the Model 3 and Model Y models respectively. The prices are 468 yuan (approximately 72 US dollars) and 768 yuan (approximately 118 US dollars).
The 72 US dollar car decal will have “Model 3/Y” on the front door panel, while the rear door panel will have “ECO FRIENDLY”, wheel size, acceleration, and range data. The 118 US dollar car decal will have a lightning-like design.
It is reported that the first batch of pilot cities for this car decal includes 19 cities such as Beijing, Shanghai, Guangzhou, Shenzhen, Hangzhou, Chengdu, Nanjing, Suzhou, Wuxi, Changzhou, Tianjin, Zhengzhou, Wuhan, Xi’an, Changsha, Hefei, Nanchang, Ningbo, Chongqing, and Wenzhou. Other cities will be launched in succession. Tesla suggests that users should make an appointment with their local Tesla service center in advance if they want to apply the car decal to avoid queuing. The process of applying the car decal takes about half an hour.
