MG Cyberster electric convertible sports car production version picture released

On April 19th, SAIC MOTOR MG released the official images and promotional video of the production version of their new convertible electric sports car, Cyberster. The company claims that this is China’s first two-door, two-seat convertible electric sports car. In addition, MG officials stated that the car will be available for offline viewing in July.

The MG Cyberster features a two-door, two-seat body design and a soft-top convertible mechanism, with the top available in black or red. The car also incorporates some design elements from the concept car, such as arrow-shaped taillights and a rear diffuser. It’s worth noting that the car also features scissor doors.

Based on the previously released new car declaration information, the Cyberster production version will offer multiple wheel styles that can be selected, with two sizes of 19 inches and 20 inches. At the same time, the car also offers an optional configuration of a black brand logo. In terms of body size, the Cyberster production version has a length, width, and height of 4535/1913/1329 millimeters, and a wheelbase of 2690 millimeters.

The declaration information shows that the Cyberster production version will launch three power versions, among which the rear-wheel drive version is equipped with high and low power driving motors. The maximum power of the low-power version driving motor is 231 kilowatts, and the maximum power of the high-power version driving motor is 250 kilowatts. The maximum power of the front-wheel drive motor in the four-wheel-drive version is 150 kilowatts, and the maximum power of the rear-wheel drive motor is 250 kilowatts.
