The latest Wuling’s Baojun Yueye EV. The new car is equipped with a 28.1 kWh battery, and can run up to 303 kilometers on the CLTC cycle.
In terms of appearance, Baojun Yueye is a very distinctive small car, with a design similar to an off-road vehicle. Due to its resemblance to the Jimny, it has also been joked by netizens as the Wuling electric “Jimny.” Yueye is positioned as a micro electric vehicle, with a length, width, and height of 3381/1685/1721mm, and a wheelbase of 2110mm.
In terms of power, the new car adopts a rear-wheel drive and is equipped with a permanent magnet synchronous drive motor, with a maximum power of 68 horsepower (50 kW) and a peak torque of 140 N·m. According to official sources, Baojun Yueye relies on Wuling’s new energy triple supply chain ecological integration advantages, as well as its independent R&D capabilities in batteries, electronic control, and chips. More information on this model has yet to be announced.
