On April 15th, according to Electrek’s report, the latest episode of Tesla’s Texas Super Factory aerial footage captured scenes of Tesla employees testing the Cybertruck pickup truck’s windshield wiper.
From the aerial footage, it can be seen that the Cybertruck’s windshield wiper only has one wiper blade, which can cover most of the windshield area, including the front passenger area.
The video also shows several tripods placed around the Cybertruck, one above the wind tunnel and one on the side. It is not yet clear whether the tripods are also equipped with cameras.
The initial design of the Cybertruck in 2019 did not even have a windshield wiper. Tesla later experimented with a smaller, switchblade-style windshield wiper at the request of car owners, which can extend and retract.
