This car model is positioned as a mid-size pure electric sedan, with dimensions of 5000x1953x1494mm and a wheelbase of 3000mm. It is slightly smaller than the IM L7 and NIO ET7, and roughly the same size as the ZEEKR 001. It comes in 5 body colors: Coconut Latte, Universal Grey, Silver Wing Purple, Cloud White, and Dragon Blue.
The exterior and interior design of the new car adopt the same design language as the RiSing R7, with the main difference being that the F7 cancels the LED light strip that runs through the front, but still has a light strip that runs through the rear. It has a sleek roofline and a waistline that is basically identical to the R7, and the whole car has a drag coefficient of 0.206.
The RiSing F7 adopts the Momentum Line design concept and is equipped with the RISING PILOT advanced intelligent driving system developed in-house, featuring the Qualcomm Snapdragon 8155 chip and RISING OS intelligent cockpit interaction system. It has the same 43-inch integrated tri-screen as the R7, including a 10.25-inch LCD instrument panel, 15.05-inch OLED central control screen, and 12.3-inch co-pilot screen, all encapsulated by an integrated glass panel. The high-end version uses the OrinX scheme, and a stronger laser radar version is expected to be released later.
Other features of the RiSing F7 include the “Bach cabin”, which features the innovative Bach 3D vector sound effect and the RISING MAX function, which provides dual-zone, dual-direction independent cinema functionality. The car also has Nappa punched leather fabric, and is equipped with heating, ventilation, massage, electric lumbar support, and electric leg support. The back seats also have electrically adjustable backrest angles, heating, and other functions.
It is worth mentioning that in terms of comfort, the RiSing F7 uses three major technology highlights – low seat height, high strength, and modularization – along with innovative replacement of traditional gear plate structures with rack-and-pinion structures. The seat height has been lowered by 28mm, and with the use of a prone structure to reduce the battery pack thickness by approximately 30mm, the car has received the highest score in history for the “Comfort Star” rating from China Automotive Engineering Research Institute. In addition, the car’s unique “motion sickness relief system” reduces user discomfort in five dimensions: visual, auditory, tactile, balance, and proprioception.
Regarding performance, the new car offers two power layouts to choose from: single-motor rear-wheel drive and dual-motor all-wheel drive. The single-motor model has a maximum power of 250kW, a maximum torque of 400N·m, and an acceleration time of 0-100km/h in 5.7 seconds; the dual-motor model has a total motor power of 400kW, a total torque of 700N·m, and an acceleration time of 0-100km/h in 3.7 seconds.
In addition, RiSing F7 owners can also enjoy battery-swapping services. In ideal conditions, the vehicle can complete a battery swap in just 2.5 minutes. However, it should be noted that RiSing does not share battery-swapping stations with NIO and is currently in the early stages. Battery-swapping stations are only available in some areas.
