On May 21st, we obtained the latest real car pictures of the NIO ET5 Shooting Brake from the internet. It is expected that the new car will debut in China and European markets in June.
Compared to the previous Aurora Green paint job, this spy shot features a Cloud Sun Yellow paint job. Based on the previously exposed real car, it is speculated that the new car should be the same as the ET5 sedan, offering nine body paint options to choose from. Several actual car photos of different colors, such as Thermal Blue and Deep Space Black, have already been exposed.
We noticed that the new car has already been declared by the Ministry of Industry and Information Technology, and the certification information shows that the front face design of the NIO ET5 Shooting Brake version is basically the same as that of the current NIO ET5 sedan. The front face lines are round and smooth, with separate headlights and bumper air intakes on both sides, giving it a sporty feel.
It is worth noting that the NIO ET5 Shooting Brake is also equipped with a roof-mounted LiDAR, as a driving assistance hardware for perception. In terms of the rear part of the vehicle, the NIO ET5 Shooting Brake has a significant difference from the current ET5 sedan, with a fuller overall shape and a larger opening area for the trunk.
In terms of dimensions, the NIO ET5 Shooting Brake measures 4790/1960/1499 millimeters in length, width and height respectively, with a wheelbase of 2888 millimeters. Like the sedan version, the main difference lies in the position of the trunk.
