On August 10th, Porsche announced its plan to release an electric version of Boxster in 2024, following the launch of Taycan electric car series. Recently, a source named @Strombock tweeted that they saw a Boxster EV prototype at an EnBW fast-charging station.
According to the tweet, the Boxster EV prototype’s curve was shown during charging with EnBW, and it can be seen that it remains stable at a charging rate of 150-162 kW, charging from 40% to 80% battery level.
Notebook Check estimated that this Boxster EV prototype was charged with 39.39 kWh based on the charging curve exposed in the tweet, and predicted that its full battery capacity is between 80-85 kWh. Here is the attached video:
