On April 4th, HOZON Motors unveiled its all-new two-door, four-seater pure electric sports car NETA GT, which will be launched in the first half of this year and is claimed to be the first pure electric sports car for the Chinese people, and China’s first SS DRESS CODE.
NETA GT is the second model based on the Shangqi platform (note: the first car is NETA S), with dimensions of 4715 × 1979 × 1415 mm and a wheelbase of 2770 mm.
This car has a strong sense of power in terms of appearance, with a very smooth large sloping back, coupled with hidden door handles, low wind resistance wheels, electric spoiler and other large-scale aerodynamic kits, combined with the low center of gravity advantage of electric vehicles, achieving a balance between wind resistance and downforce; The tail of the car is equipped with a circular light strip, and also comes with an electric spoiler.
Regarding the interior, the new car adopts the popular minimalist style, such as the more combat-oriented black-orange interior color scheme. It uses a suspended LCD screen, but cancels the entertainment screen for the co-driver. At the same time, it also retains frameless windows and integrated sport seats.
Regarding the power, the NETA GT comes in single and dual motor versions, with the latter joining the “3 Second Club”:
- The single motor version has a rear-wheel drive with 170 kW power;
- The dual motor version has 170 kW power in the front and rear, with a combined power of 340 kW.
In terms of range, this model uses a 64.24/74.48/77.9 kWh battery, providing various versions with ranges such as 560/660/580km (CLTC) to meet different consumer needs.
