On the evening of today, Lynk held a press conference and launched its new generation of intelligent cockpit operating system, “LYNK OS N”.
According to the introduction, LYNK OS N has three major highlights: “super customization, AI intelligent voice, and boutique scene suite”.
LYNK OS N is equipped with “Lingxi Desktop”. Through super customization, it claims to be able to migrate phone usage habits to the car at zero cost. The overall interface is shown in the following figure. The desktop supports pulling down to open the control center and notification bar, sliding right to open the life center, sliding left to open the application center, and the bottom bar can be customized, with many customizable controls.
In terms of AI intelligent voice, LYNK OS N claims to be the industry’s first to use OCR full-scene visible and speakable recognition, supporting multi-tone zone recognition and continuous deep semantic dialogue.
According to the official introduction of Lynk, the LYNK OS N system is based on the Qualcomm 8155 chip, which can achieve faster system response, a 25% improvement in system performance fluency, and an 18% improvement in app startup speed. “Moreover, within 10 seconds, it can complete 8 corresponding operations according to voice commands.” At the same time, the voice system has also been optimized for personification, oralization, and scenarization of expression, and can actively customize emotional broadcast greetings and emotional responses according to time and scene, with more diverse emotional responses.
In the final section of the boutique scene suite, LYNK OS N is equipped with an intelligent scene engine, with ten preset scenes, such as children’s mode, smoking mode, and KTV mode, and each mode can be customized with specific configurations.
LYNK OS N is currently in public beta and will be fully rolled out to all Lynk 09 users starting on March 29. Other Lynk cars equipped with Qualcomm 8155 chips will also receive updates in the future.
From the current information available, Meizu Flyme Auto seems to debut on the Lynk 08 car, and it is unclear whether other cars can be upgraded to Flyme Auto.
