On April 18th, LI AUTO announced at the 2023 Shanghai Auto Show that it will officially enter a new stage of development for its “Dual Energy Strategy,” with a comprehensive focus on “intelligence” and “electricity.”
According to the company, in terms of the “Intelligence Strategy,” LI AUTO will build a technology platform for “Intelligent Driving” and “Intelligent Space” based on its software 2.0 capabilities, providing an excellent AI intelligent vehicle experience. In terms of the “Electricity Strategy,” LI AUTO will launch a high-voltage pure electric solution, with “Extended-Range Electric” and “High-Voltage Pure Electric” being developed in parallel.
LI AUTO announced that intelligent driving has entered the 3.0 era and also entered the urban scene. Using large-scale AI algorithms, LI AD Max 3.0 eliminates the dependence on high-precision maps and perceives, decides, and plans in real time like human drivers. AD Max 3.0’s urban NOA will begin to be pushed to internal beta users this quarter, and by the end of the year, it will be pushed to 100 Chinese cities. LI AUTO will also use a set of technologies to fully connect cities and highways. The company claims that AD Max 3.0 will also be perfectly integrated with LI AUTO’s self-operated super charging stations, making it more convenient to go to a super charging station than a gas station. In addition, it will also be released to AD Pro 3.0.
It is worth mentioning that LI AUTO stated that the software and service price of AD Max 3.0’s urban NOA is: free for life! There are no subscription fees, and every AD Max user will be able to upgrade to AD Max 3.0’s urban NOA and highway NOA for free.
