On August 17th, Lamborghini, the supercar brand, released a teaser video of its first pure electric vehicle on Twitter in the early morning. The 15-second clip starts with a view of the city’s skyscrapers and then transitions to a close-up of a female model’s eye. Afterward, space, comets, and other elements appear in sequence, and finally, the outline of this mysterious new car is revealed.

Although only the outline of the front of the new car appears in this short video, some obvious features of the new car can still be seen. They are as follows:
- The front of the car uses an “=” shaped headlight.
- The body posture is relatively high, preliminarily ruling out that the car is a supercar model.
- While the body posture is relatively high, the height of the roof is low.
Combining with Lamborghini’s previous teaser, the car seems to have a four-seater coupe stance from the side, and the sharply designed body inherits Lamborghini’s design language. According to Lamborghini CEO Stephan Winkelmann, the new car will be a 2+2 “grand tourer” that is more suitable for daily use compared to Huracan or the new Revuelto.
It is reported that the new car will be showcased at the Monterey Car Week on August 18. This car will use the new platform “SSP Sport” developed under Porsche’s leadership and is planned to be officially launched in 2028.
According to Lamborghini’s Design Director, Mitja Borkert, this new car “will retain 1000% of Lamborghini’s design DNA”, and Lamborghini’s Aventador, Huracan, and SUV model Urus will all undergo electrification in the future.
