SuperVision platform combines CMOS, LIDAR, driver monitoring sensors and the EyeQ 6 processor responsible for processing the input data from the sensors. This platform supports various advanced driving assistance features for future Porsche models, including hands-free driving on specific road types, adaptive cruise control, lane-keeping assistance, automatic braking and emergency evasion. Mobileye refers to SuperVision platform as a bridge to consumer-grade autonomous vehicles and expects it to become a major driver of the company’s development by 2023.
