On April 11th, HiPhi officially released a teaser video for their third production vehicle, the HiPhi Y. The vehicle is positioned as a luxury mid-size SUV and features a wing-door design. With a CLTC comprehensive range of over 800 kilometers (497 miles), the HiPhi Y will be officially launched at the Shanghai Auto Show, which starts on April 18th.
HiPhi Y’s application information has been previously released, with a more conventional design compared to other models of the brand, but still equipped with the family-style programmable intelligent headlights and side display screen.
From the appearance, this new car adopts a through-type light strip design on the front, with programmable triangle headlights on both sides. The design of the bottom air intake and front lip is quite sporty. In addition, it can be seen that the new car is equipped with multiple cameras and a lidar is installed above the front windshield.
The rear design is also simple, with smoked black integrated taillights and a bumper that echoes the sporty style of the front. In terms of size, the new car measures 493819581658 millimeters with a wheelbase of 2950 millimeters.
As for the power, the new car will adopt a rear-wheel drive system, using a maximum power of 245 kW permanent magnet synchronous motor and a lithium iron phosphate battery. The suspension adopts a front double-wishbone and rear five-link independent suspension.
