Recently, LI AUTO CEO Li Xiang also showcased a screenshot of the City NOA function’s interface on social media, jokingly calling himself a “bird egg user.” According to the first quarter earnings conference, the City NOA will begin early testing in June, and some users will receive push notifications.

Previously, at the 2023 Shanghai Auto Show, LI AUTO proposed a “dual-energy strategy.” In terms of “intelligence,” LI AUTO introduced AD Max 3.0. It is reported that the upcoming City NOA algorithm for assisted driving will use three neural network large model algorithms: static BEV network, dynamic BEV network, and Occupancy network. Among them, static BEV is the key technology to get rid of reliance on high-precision maps. It can perceive and build road structures in real time, like making maps dynamically while driving, solving the problem of real-time high-precision map data and making the perception features more in line with the requirements of autonomous driving. According to LI AUTO, through large model AI algorithms, AD Max 3.0 no longer requires high-precision maps, and can perceive, make decisions, and plan in real time like a human driver.

LI AUTO’s City NOA navigation assisted driving system of AD Max 3.0 will begin internal testing in the second quarter. By the end of 2023, more than 100 domestic cities will be covered with a set of technologies that will fully connect cities and highways, and part of the intelligent driving capabilities based on large model training will also be released to users who adopt the LI AD Pro hardware model. In addition, the software and services for LI AD Max 3.0 City NOA are both free for life.
