A poster titled “2023 NIO ET7 Product Changes Overview” has surfaced on Chinese social media, which is most likely the upcoming NIO ET7 facelift. Of course, the final product changes are subject to official release.
According to the poster, the 2023 model of ET7 will have the following new options:
- New color option “Dawn Gold” for 2023 (available for all NT2 models)
- Trailer kit
- N-Box
- Heated lower windshield
Improvements & optimizations:
- Increased power for wireless charging panel
- Improved seating experience
- Added chrome ring decoration to center console trim
- Optimized shape of steering wheel lever
- Soft package covering added to lower side of front and rear door panels
- Water cup limiters and bottom velveting process added to door panel storage boxes
- Improved low-speed warning sound
- Added Type-C interface to front armrest box
The NIO ET7 is currently out of production, and sales channels can only sell existing ET7 cars after March 10. There were also rumors that a new version of ET7 will be unveiled at the Shanghai Auto Show in April. Stay tuned.
At the NIO Day 2020 held in Chengdu in January 2021, NIO launched the NIO ET7 model. The new car is positioned as a large flagship sedan, with a total length of over 5 meters and a wheelbase over 3 meters. The official guide price is RMB 458,000-536,000, which is approximately USD 71,000-83,000.
The current NIO ET7 comes standard with intelligent air suspension and dynamic damping control, equipped with 4D intelligent body control, a low drag coefficient of 0.23Cd, and a 0-100km/h acceleration of only 3.9 seconds, with a braking distance of only 33.5 meters.
The NIO ET7 has intelligent frameless electric suction doors and Double-dash daytime running lights, with a floating screen design, two-tone spoke steering wheel design, and hidden intelligent air outlets. It is also equipped with NAD autonomous driving technology and ADAM NIO supercomputing platform. The vehicle has 33 high-performance perception hardware and supports UWB digital key and smart key.
