On August 16th, CATL announced the launch of its new product, “Godzilla” super-fast charging battery, claiming to be the world’s first 4C lithium iron phosphate battery.
According to the introduction, the Shenxing ultra-fast charging battery supports 10 minutes of charging and can run for 400 kilometers, and can be charged to 80% in 30 minutes even in a low temperature environment of -10°C.
According to the introduction, the battery is equipped with ultra-electron web positive electrode technology, graphite fast ion loop negative electrode technology, ultra-thin SEI film, ultra-conductive electrolyte formula, high porosity isolation film, and can achieve a total range of up to 700 kilometers.
It was announced at the Ningde Times press conference that the “Shenxing Super Charge Battery” will be mass-produced by the end of 2023 and released in the first quarter of 2024. At that time, cars equipped with the “Shenxing Super Charge Battery” will be available for purchase.
