Chinese media outlet Yiche exposed a set of spy photos of LI AUTO’s first pure electric vehicle model, Mega, today. It appears that the photos were taken while the vehicle was being transported on the road.
According to reports, the length of this model is between 5300-5400mm, the width is around 2000mm, the height is around 1800mm, and the wheelbase is between 3200-3400mm.
From the pictures, the new car has a smooth and slender body with large front windshield and side windows, and the front of the car is equipped with six radar reserved ports. We noticed that MEGA adopts a brand-new style of wheel hub design, which is expected to further reduce the drag coefficient and increase the cruising range.
In addition, the rear of the car also adopts the ideal family-style continuous light strip. Li Xiang once said that the inspiration for this car comes from whales and sharks, and the design will not be similar to the Alphard, and it will be more eye-catching than Ferrari.
Based on previous leaks, the new car has an extremely exaggerated front windshield design, and the overall body is streamlined, resembling a “bullet head”.
Currently, there is not much information known about this vehicle model, except that the new car will adopt an 800V high-voltage platform, equipped with 5C Kirin batteries, and the peak charging power exceeds 500kw. It is claimed that it can “drive 400 kilometers in 9 minutes and 30 seconds, and continue driving for 600 kilometers after charging for 22 minutes”.
