On June 29th, XPENG announced the release of the G6 sedan SUV. The new car has a total of five models with prices starting at 209,900 RMB and deliveries beginning in July:
- 580 Long Range Pro: 209,900 RMB
- 580 Long Range Max: 229,900 RMB
- 755 Super Long Range Pro: 234,900 RMB
- 755 Super Long Range Max: 254,900 RMB
- 700 Four-Wheel Drive Performance Max: 276,900 RMB
In terms of color options, XPENG G6 is available in six different colors: Fusion Cloud Orange, New Moon Silver, Starry Sky Blue, Photon Blue, Star River Grey, and Nebula White.
XPENG G6’s main and co-pilot seats can be reclined 180° to transform into a rest compartment. The car has a 60.8% wheelbase ratio and a 2,890 mm long wheelbase. The standard capacity of the trunk is 571 liters, which can be expanded to 1,374 liters by folding the rear seats.
XPENG G6 adopts a brand new design style in the car, with the “vector star ring” design integrated throughout the entire center console. The full LCD instrument panel is 10.2 inches in size, while the center console screen is 14.96 inches and equipped with full-scene four-audio-zone voice function.
In terms of configuration, XPENG G6 is equipped with air conditioning without feeling, panoramic skylight, front seat heating/ventilation, mobile phone wireless charging panel, and supports “XOpera XPENG Music Hall” function.
This new car is equipped with XNGP intelligent assisted driving system and Xmart OS 4.0 car intelligent system, with 31 intelligent driving sensors around the body and 508Tops computing power, which can support high-level assisted driving functions.
XPENG G6 is the first model of the flying architecture, equipped with the industry’s first mass-produced full-scene intelligent assisted driving, which can achieve intelligent obstacle avoidance, recognition of red and green lights, lane changing and overtaking, and cross-floor positioning.
On the power side, the new car offers two types of power, two-wheel drive and four-wheel drive. The two-wheel drive version has a maximum power of 218 kW and a peak torque of 440 Nm, while the four-wheel drive version has a combined power of 358 kW and a combined torque of 660 Nm.
The car will be equipped with two specifications of battery packs: 66 kWh lithium iron phosphate and 87.5 kWh ternary lithium, supporting 800V fast charging (note: charging for 10 minutes increases the range by 300 kilometers). The CLTC comprehensive range of the car is claimed to reach 755 kilometers.
