According to the report, Audi will release the Audi Q6 e-tron based on the PPE luxury electric platform globally later this year; the Audi Q6 e-tron and A6 e-tron series will be produced locally in 2024 at Audi FAW New Energy Vehicle Co.

Audi also mentioned that the group is investing up to €2.6 billion in Audi FAW New Energy Vehicles Co. The company will further enhance Audi’s position in the Chinese electric vehicle market with the Audi PPE models.
He stressed that the uniqueness of the Chinese market is unparalleled and that no other region in the world has seen such a dynamic transition to electrification, such a high degree of digitalization and such a rapid pace of innovation.
