On May 14th, it was announced that the BAOJUN YUEYE compact pure electric SUV will be launched on May 25th, 2023. Currently, the actual vehicle has been exposed.
BAOJUN YUEYE features a Square Box design language, blending tough lines and cute rounded corners. According to official sources, the new BAOJUN YUEYE pure electric SUV has dimensions of 3381mm x 1685mm x 1721mm, a ground clearance of 150mm, a wheelbase of 2110mm, and a turning radius of 4.6 meters. Furthermore, the new car has a wider tire width and a larger ratio of width to length, and offers five car colors inspired by 24-hour sky lighting, including Sunrise, Dawn, Cloud, Neon, and Deep Space.
The BAOJUN YUEYE features city zebra headlights with a “four horizontal and four vertical” layout, equipped with automatic headlights and 184 built-in LED lights. The front side of the car has a hidden charging port cover with fast and slow charging ports arranged side by side. The front and rear bumpers are made of gunmetal, and feature classic anti-collision design. The car roof comes with a luggage rack. The BAOJUN YUEYE adopts a waistline-free body design with a large area of blank space, providing up to 5.66 square meters of modification area, and removable wheel arches.
In addition, the BAOJUN YUEYE also offers original 205/65 R15 all-terrain AT tire accessories.
The BAOJUN YUEYE features a tough Jeep-style design at the rear, with a refrigerator-style side-opening tailgate that can be unlocked and opened horizontally at a 90-degree angle, with wedge-shaped hinges supporting different angles of opening and closing. The side-opening tailgate also offers 12L of storage space.
The BAOJUN YUEYE is equipped with racetrack taillights on both sides of the tailgate, featuring a three-ring stereo design and 164 built-in LED lights. The car also comes with Car-watch, with an interactive display screen.
Regarding power, the Baojun yueye is equipped with a single-motor rear-wheel drive system, with a comprehensive battery range of 303km (188 miles).
