On April 12th, ZEEKR officially launched its third vehicle, the ZEEKR X. The new car comes in three different configurations and is priced between 189,800 to 209,800 yuan (29,000 to 32,000 US dollars), with deliveries starting in June:
- ME version, with five seats and rear-wheel drive, priced at 189,800 yuan (29,000 US dollars);
- YOU version, with four seats and rear-wheel drive, priced at 209,800 yuan (32,000 US dollars);
- YOU version, with five seats and four-wheel drive, also priced at 209,800 yuan (32,000 US dollars).
ZEEKR X is positioned as a compact performance SUV, built on the vast SEA pure electric architecture, offering a choice of single and dual motor models. The dual motor version has an acceleration time of 0-100 km/h (0-62 mph) in 3.7 seconds, with a battery range of 500-560 km (311-348 miles).
In terms of design, ZEEKR X has dimensions of 4450/1836/1572mm, with a wheelbase of 2750mm. It offers a choice of four/five seat layouts, equipped with rear privacy glass, frameless doors, frameless rearview mirrors, and a handle-free design.
The design of ZEEKR X is created by a team led by former Bentley designer, Stephen Siu. It is worth mentioning that it also supports the optional industry’s first intelligent B-pillar interactive system, which integrates a ToF 3D camera and a multimedia touchscreen. Users can easily unlock and lock the vehicle through facial recognition.
Additionally, this model offers six color options: Parisian Black, Athenian White, Berlin Silver, California Pink, Sydney Bay Blue, and Hangzhou Green. The interior features a minimalist design with a through-style front row and almost no physical buttons visible inside the car. Most functions are integrated into the central control screen.
Regarding space, ZEEKR X has transformed the rear middle seat that is seldom used into the first four-seat version in the compact luxury market. It also creatively enables the rear seats to fold up with one touch through electric adjustment, leaving a fully connected rear space with a height of 1.1 meters and increasing the available space by 31%.
To further enhance the flexibility of space, ZEEKR X has transformed the traditional fixed central armrest into an imaginative intelligent dynamic island. The intelligent dynamic island can achieve a 205mm electric sliding and is equipped with 50W wireless fast charging for phones.
It features an 8.8-inch full LCD instrument panel + HUD head-up display, equipped with a Touch BAR touch steering wheel unique to its class, supplemented by a 14.6-inch electric sliding smart screen (353mm slide rails), which can be slid by gesture. The vehicle also adopts a “gear-holding” design. In addition, the vehicle is equipped with Ice Block multi-color ambient lights. It has an intelligent and flexible central console and is equipped with a 50W wireless fast charging for mobile phones.

On the night of its market debut, the first surprise brought by ZEEKR X to this collaborative innovation platform was a 5.7-liter high-capacity embedded refrigerator. As the only car refrigerator in the industry that can cool down to minus 15 degrees Celsius, it can achieve three temperature control modes of extreme freezing, refrigeration, and thermal insulation. The temperature control range is from minus 15 degrees Celsius to 50 degrees Celsius.
As for the seats, the new car adopts an integrated 4D cloud zero-gravity seat, which can achieve 22-way electric adjustment. At the same time, there is a suspended armrest in the middle of the front seats, which can further increase the comfort of the front row. In addition to the conventional three-seat layout, the rear seats also have a more comfortable and luxurious two-seat layout, which can meet the personalized needs of more users.
For the intelligent driving part, the new car is equipped with a ZAD intelligent driving assistance system composed of 5 cameras, 5 millimeter-wave radars, and 12 ultrasonic radars, which has more than 10 intelligent driving assistance functions such as full-speed active cruise, large vehicle active deviation avoidance, blind spot monitoring, remote control parking, etc. (Note: some functions will be implemented later via OTA).
On the safety front, ZEEKR X is developed based on global five-star safety standards, with a 720° full-body armor for all-around protection. The top pressure bearing capacity of ZEEKR X can reach up to 9 tons, and the side threshold beam adopts an 8-grid design, using the same safety verification standards as ZEEKR 009. Every 12.7 centimeters, a side column collision test is conducted, which is 11 times the industry standard. With a high-strength cage body design, ZEEKR X can withstand side column collision instantaneous impact force of up to 65 tons.
In addition, ZEEKR X adopts a core battery pack that is non-heat-propagating and non-flammable, with 6 layers of safety measures to fully address the risk of fire. It has undergone more than 200 component tests and more than 100 system-level tests, meeting the highest battery safety requirements in the industry.
On the power side, the new car offers a choice of single-motor rear-wheel drive and dual-motor all-wheel drive models. The single-motor rear-wheel drive model has a maximum power of 200kW, while the dual-motor model is equipped with an additional front-wheel drive motor with a maximum power of 115kW. The single-motor version accelerates from 0 to 62 mph in 5.8 seconds, while the dual-motor all-wheel drive version does it in 3.7 seconds.
It also has ZEEKR’s self-developed brake black technology – the IPB intelligent integrated braking system and XTCS all-terrain intelligent anti-skid system, with a response speed of 150 milliseconds, equivalent to half the time it takes for humans to blink. It has a class-leading braking distance of 34.5 meters. It is said that it only takes 6 milliseconds from the vehicle slipping to achieving response cycle, and the control frequency is 10 times that of TCS. On ice and snow roads, it performs an acceleration test from 0 to 50 km/h (0 to 31 mph), which is 1.3 seconds faster than the traditional TCS-equipped model.
In terms of battery life, the new car will be equipped with a 66kWh three-element lithium battery provided by Era Jili, with four versions of 500km (311 miles), 512km (318.65 miles), 540km (335 miles), and 560km (348 miles) (CLTC) available to choose from.
