LI L7 outsold BMW X5 in China with 8009 units sold in its first month

On April 11th, LI Auto delivered a total of 20,823 new cars in March, exceeding 20,000 deliveries for the month for the second time and achieving a year-on-year growth of 88.7%.

In the first quarter of 2023, LI Auto delivered a total of 52,584 vehicles, representing a year-on-year growth of 65.8% compared to the first quarter of 2022.

As of March 31st, 2023, the cumulative delivery volume of Ideal Auto is 309,918 vehicles.

LI Auto’s first five-seater SUV, L7, began delivery on March 11th, with terminal retail data for the first month reaching 8,009 units, becoming the terminal retail champion of the Chinese market’s large SUV segment.

The terminal retail data for LI L8 in March was 6,628 units, making it the terminal retail runner-up in the Chinese market’s large SUV segment.

In the terminal retail data for large SUVs in the Chinese market in March, BMW X5 sold 7,908 units, ranking second, while FAW-Volkswagen’s Tharu and Mercedes-Benz’s GLE ranked fourth and fifth, with sales of 4,056 and 3,700 units, respectively. In addition, since its delivery at the end of August 2022, LI L9 has been the terminal retail champion of the Chinese market’s large SUV segment for seven consecutive months.
