AITO M5/M5 EV Advanced Intelligent Driving Edition is expected to be released in April

On April 5th, AITO M5/M5 EV will launch its advanced intelligent driving version, which will be equipped with Huawei’s latest intelligent driving technology. It can achieve higher-level auxiliary driving functions without the need for high-precision maps. Recently, the social media has exposed the AITO M5/M5 EV advanced intelligent driving version real car image, showing that the new car has been mass-produced.

The appearance of AITO M5/M5 EV advanced intelligent driving version has changed, mainly strengthening the auxiliary driving function. It is equipped with a roof-mounted laser radar, a rear-view mirror radar, a full-angle ADAS camera, and the computing unit will also be replaced with Huawei’s self-developed MDC.

In terms of body size, the new car is 477019301625mm in length, width and height, with a wheelbase of 2880mm. In terms of power, the advanced intelligent driving version will continue to provide extended-range and pure electric versions for consumers to choose from.

Previously, Yu Chengdong, executive director of Huawei, CEO of Terminal BG, and CEO of Intelligent Car Solutions BU announced that the AITO M5/M5 EV advanced intelligent driving version will be released in April.

Since 2023, sales of the AITO brand jointly developed by Huawei and Cyrus have continued to decline for two months. In January, AITO sold 4,475 vehicles, a month-on-month decrease of 55.88%; in February, AITO sales further decreased by 21.86% month-on-month to 3,535 vehicles.
